Designing four campaigns for servants during the pandemic
GUY COHEN
During the pandemic, I created health campaigns for more than 100,000 IDF members who relied on the military for their medical care.
I designed hundreds of products in response to infection surges, guideline updates, and senior requests, often within hours.
First days
MARCH 2020
Before anyone in the building had a mask, we were asked to create rapid deliverables in response to the increase in cases and pressure.
First wave
APRIL 2020
The soldiers realized the gravity of the situation by then. I could design more appealing and soothing products as the health guidelines became more challenging.
Second wave
JUNE 2020
Soldiers neglected the guidelines and needed to be alerted to the severity of the situation and the actions they were required to do.
Capsules
JULY 2020
A capsule policy was started which led to soldiers spending more time at home and returning to their base camp with covid.
Concept campaign for the civil society
At that time, I saw the government struggling to establish a strong and stable campaign for the citizens; One that will appeal to an emotion and connect that emotion to the instructions without creating panic from the situation. I was interested in how I would approach such a project and created sketches.
